Inspired by true events, LIGHTS IN THE DARK is the story of four heroines from different parts of Jerusalem: A fragile, sensitive woman suffering from depression, two prostitutes, who discover their cruel pimp is about to sell one of them off, and a single-mother taxi driver mixed up within a violent black market. Each one of them is caught up in different situations being terrorized by men, even up to life threatening levels, and desperate attempts of saving themselves fail miserably. Until a chance intersection in their lives ties their fates together, makes them join forces and sets up the only way of liberating themselves and each other.
